Officials play an important role in making thousands of events run smoothly. From working national championships to officiating high-school track meets, officials are essential for maintaining the highest levels of integrity at all levels of competition. This section offers resources for current officials, as well as those seeking certification.

Introductory USATF Officials Clinic:

 Maximum capacity is fifty. Pre-registration will end if maximum is reached.

 Note: Please park only in white parking spaces or on the side street. The   yellow parking spaces are for firefighters in an emergency

 Clinic is free but national application fee for certification is $20 for the   Olympiad.

USATF Rulebooks will also be available for $15.

Agenda will include elections of the 9-person Officials Executive Committee. A Nominating Committee has been appointed and more info will be sent out shortly.

Agenda will also include a review of the XC and indoor seasons, and info about the upcoming outdoor season and other news.

1. Fill out an application for the 4-year Olympiad;
2. Pay an application fee of $20;
3. Attend a free introductory clinic offered twice yearly in NJ;
4. After the clinic, send in a take-home review;
5. Send a digital headshot for certification badge;
6. Become a USATF member ($30 annually or $100 for four years);
7. Get a USATF-approved background check;
8. Take USOC Safe Sport course online or in person;
(Requirements do not have to be done all at once or in order.)
