News and notes from the 2020 USATF Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada

Awards and Recognition

• Athing Mu (Trenton) was named as the overall USATF Youth Athlete of the Year.  Her award was presented during the Night of Ledgends ceremony that included presentations of the Jesse Owens and Jackie Joyner-Kersee awards as well as the 2019 National Track & Field Hall of Fame inductions.
• Thomas Knowles (Oakland) was named the Athlete of the Year (Sub-Ultra Trail Running - Masters Men).
• Mark Williams (Columbia) was named the Athlete of the Year (Masters Track & Field -  Middle Distance event group)
• Nathaniel Finestone (Mountianside) was awarded the Paul Springer Award (Masters Long Distance Running)
