USATF National Officials Committee has announced the finalists for six national awards that recognize outstanding officials in several key areas of officiating.
Officials play an important role in making thousands of events run smoothly. From working national championships to officiating high-school track meets, officials are essential for maintaining the highest levels of integrity at all levels of competition. This section offers resources for current officials, as well as those seeking certification. 1. Fill out an online new officials certification application for the 4-year Olympiad; 2. Pay a National application fee of $20 plus servicing charge; 3. Attend a free introductory clinic offered twice yearly in NJ; 4. Rules Review 5. Upload a digital headshot in USATF Connect for a certification badge 6. Become a USATF member ($40 annually); 7. Get a USATF-approved background check; 8. Take USOC Safe Sport course online; 9. Code of Ethics & Performance Guidelines USATF-NJ Spring Officials Clinic Sunday 3/27/22 USATF-NJ Officials Zoom Clinic, Sunday, 3/27/22 1. It will be on Zoom. 2. It will be a track & field clinic. We hope to do an LDR clinic in August or September. 3. Date: Sunday afternoon, March 27, 2022 4. Time Schedule: Check-in from 12:30 to 1 PM Clinic Starts at 1PM Halfway break at approximately 2:45 PM Clinic ends about 4:30 PM 5.
